"Spicy aromas of lime and crushed stone. Intensely flavored and tightly wound, with brisk acidity and citrus cut giving the wine a very juicy quality, even a slight sourness. The bracing, stony finish is considerably more vivid than that of the '06 today. " (IWC)

"Despite the presence of a touch of reduction, the nose remains exceptionally elegant as that is Tillets' stock on trade along with finesse and pungent minerality and the '05 version delivers all of this with its discreet and very pure dried flower nose that merges into detailed, indeed chiseled middle weight flavors that are fresh, linear and vibrant. Lovely juice and the only nit is an absence of real depth though this may very well develop in time. Worth a look. Decant for 20 minutes first." (BH)
