"The new 2008 Pinot Gris shows a return to form on the part of this usually reliable producer after a slight misstep in 2007, and the wine sparkles with green-peach fruitiness and freshening touches of pineappley acidity. Crisper than the varietal is wont to be, it is still a bit tight and firm at the finish and has the look of a wine that will improve for a bit." (CG)
