WE'VE GOT THE LOWEST PRICE, PERIOD!

"Temptingly rich and layered, with complex mocha, plum and wild berry fruit that’s spicy and aromatic. Full-bodied, gaining depth and turning ever more elegant and detailed, with tannins that give this traction. Drink now through 2019." (WS)

"High in ripeness and generously enriched by scads of creamy, somewhat caramelly, slightly toasty oak, this full and complete wine from Caymus does a masterful job of delivering lots of concentrated currant fruit tinged with notes of blueberry and root beer. It is supple and a tad fleshy in feel and takes full advantage of its ample tannins for some needed spine that serves as an offset to its never-say-die, lengthy fruit on the palate. Put it away for five to ten years. Reviewed: April 2012" (CG)

"2. 2009 Caymus Vineyards, “Special Selection,” Napa Valley ($130) – Medium-dark ruby; attractive, forward, intense, spicy, cedary, cassis and blackberry fruit aroma with hints of green olive, tobacco leaf, mint, and vanilla; full body; big, textured, cedary, cassis and dark berry fruit flavors with initial plush richness, though closing a bit on the slightly hard finish; full tannin; lingering aftertaste. Well balanced and structured for bottle aging which it deserves, though the rich fruit makes it very appealing to taste now. Very highly recom- mended. 14.9% alcohol; 29,820 cases; blended with 13% Merlot; released September 2011. (Group Score: 16.5, 1/1/2; My Score: 17 [92/100], third place)" (CA GV)
