"Sexy, lightly reduced aromas of minerals, smoke and hazelnut. Rich, sweet and fine-grained, with the strongest minerality of this set of 2009s. Rather powerful wine with noteworthy depth and structure. Concentrated lemon and vanillin oak flavors are dry but quite rich. The lingering finish nicely balances fruits and minerals." (IWC)

"An elegant, pure and beautifully expressive nose of white flowers, citrus and lightly spiced pear aromas complements well the minerally, detailed and attractively intense medium-bodied flavors that exhibit fine depth and length on the reasonably precise and moderately dry finish. This should reward 5 to 7 years of cellar time." (BH)

Winery Notes:
Having worked for many years with his family at the Domaine Michel Colin-Deleger & Fils, Bruno and his wife Stéphanie produced their first vintage in 2004. Today, the Domaine Bruno Colin consists of approximately 18 Acres located within the communes of Chassagne- Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, Saint-Aubin, Santenay and Maranges. In separating himself from the family Domaine, Bruno has realized his dream of trying different winemaking techniques. The Domaine vinifies each vintage rigorously by respecting the terroir of each parcel in order to allow the wine to present itself as perfectly and as naturally as possible. Bruno’s winemaking style is now affirmed – he makes wines of great precision and minerality - a lovely juxtaposition to the sometimes heavy classical wines of Chassagne-Montrachet.
