"The 2009 Zinfandel Field Blend is a big, burly wine loaded with dark red fruit, flowers, mint and licorice. It shows good depth, even though some rough edges remain. The 14% Petite Sirah no doubt adds quite a bit of backbone and tannin. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2014. " (WA)

Picked together…and fermented together…this blend of zinfandel and petite sirah knits together into a rich fruit-driven wine that is sweet, fresh, and lively. this quintessential napa valley blend pays homage to the early immigrants who planted and worked its hillsides. the field blend offers cream-of-the-crop oakville fruit in a lighthearted wine for every day.

Gorgeous, lush, sweet fruit that is pure, honest, and uncomplicated. it is full, intense, but very supple on the palate.
