"51% Pinot Noir; 43% Chardonnay; 6% Other. Always a reliable sparkler, Chandon's Brut succeeds in a slightly austere style that favors minerals and briskness over yeasty autolysis and dynamic fruit. It is suitably frothy in its bubbles but is just a touch on the candied side in its background flavors, and, as the result, it falls a shade short of full commendation."(CG)

Winery Notes:
Classic balance typifies this refreshingly soft, yet dry wine. When you taste Brut Classic, look for nutty flavors with hints of brioche that build to a refreshing dry finish. The wine delivers complex apple and pear characteristics accented by citrus spice over notes of almond and caramel in the bouquet.
